Double-butted Columbus tubes with electrophoretic paint job inside and out make sure it will not rust. Bar End Shifters that can switch from index to manual shifting will keep you going, full length external cable routing (protected along the top tube), threaded BB cups, and spare spokes incorporated into the rear stays all help towards being able to repair this bike anywhere, without a workshop. There’s no detail of this bike which has not been obsessively tuned, tested, re-tuned and perfected over the last 10 years to enable you to ride it straight out of the box, as hard and as far as you like without a second thought.
